| Part I: London |
| When
travelling at Government expense, it is important to maximize the impact
of taxpayer dollars. In practical terms, this means taking your alotted
one-day stopover in a European city with high per diem rates. I usually
forgo this, but in this case I was flying through London, and who can resist
that British food?
Arriving as I did on a Friday, the only day of the week the Arsenal Museum is open, there was of course only one item on my brief agenda. Right: The pitch at Highbury: beware the psychotic groundskeeper. Below Left: Ray Parlour, of Ray Parlour's Arsenal, stands next to a convincing cardboard cutout of Tim Wiseman. Below Right: Chapman's bowler hat -- what a thrill! |
