Bobby and the Bean

By and large, Isabel gets along very well with her little brother:

She helps feed him...

...and she likes to hold his hand. Sometimes both hands, but usually just to keep him from pulling her hair.

Day in the Pumpkin Patch

Tiger, Tiger, Burning Bright

We went to the annual Down Syndrome "Buddy Walk" today. By the way, you know you're old when the band that plays the Buddy Walk strikes you as too loud.

Isabel was very excited to get her face painted. She looked at herself in the mirror the whole way home.

Bobby was unimpressed by Superman; Daddy has bigger muscles.

Vote for Pedro

This was quite the birthday weekend. Isabel's good buddy Pedro had his farm-themed birthday party yesterday.

Bobby's One!

We had Bobby's first birthday party today. He enjoyed the activity, though much of the significance was lost on him. For example, he slept through the opening of presents. Some highlights:
