This Ain't No Petting Zoo

Actually, it is: it's the Reston Zoo, a private petting zoo in deepest Suburbia, where we took Isabel and her friend Josie this weekend.

Isabel spent a fair amount of time inspecting the denizens of the chicken coop. The pictured rooster later crowed loudly, scaring the bejeezus out of Isabel.

It was not clear that we would ever get Isabel off of this 50 cent merry-go-round.
